Renovation of a residential development in Shelbyville, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

BASE BID: IL-87-1/Shelbyville: Install cooling coils into the make up air unit that supplies fresh air to building corridors. Patch existing finishes as required. IL-87-2/Shelbyville: Remove and replace the existing furnaces and exterior condensing units and install new ductwork in attic. Patch existing finishes as requested. BY ALTERNATE BID No. 1: IL-87-1/Shelbyville: State the amount to be added to the Base Bid for all work at Project IL-87-1/Shelbyville Bids shall be submitted in a single lump sum proposal. In accordance with Clause No. 9, Bid Guarantee, of the Instructions to Bidders, all bids must be accompanied by a negotiable bid guarantee in the form of a certified check or bank draft, payable to the Housing Authority of the County of Shelby, Illinois, U.S. Government Bonds at par value, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the Bidder and acceptable sureties in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid. The surety company must be authorized to do business in the state where the project is located and must be acceptable to the Government. If the bid guarantee is not submitted with the bid, the PHA will reject the bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bond or bonds acceptable to the Housing Authority all in accordance with Clause No. 10, Assurance of Completion, of the Instructions to Bidders. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty days (60) subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Housing Authority. The Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding.
