Site work for a transportation facility in Yankton, South Dakota. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility.

The proposed work includes reconstructing the apron and rehabilitating Taxiway A at the Chan Gurney Municipal Airport. Work items on the concrete apron include, but are not limited to, airside traffic control, pavement removals, electrical removals, unclassified excavation, aggregate material installation, concrete paving, pavement markings, and turf restoration. Work on Taxiway A includes concrete pavement rehabilitation such as sawcutting, removal, and paving. Bidders must submit their bids online via the Quest CDN vBid platform and pay a submission fee. No online bid will be opened, read, or considered if it does not fully comply with the document submission requirements of the vBid system, including acknowledgment of all addenda and submission of a bid security for each bid in excess of $100,000.00. The bid security must be received by the Engineer prior to the bid deadline, either as a bid bond equal to ten percent of the maximum bid price or a certified/cashier's check or draft equal to five percent of the maximum bid price. The successful Bidder is required to furnish a Contract Performance Bond, a Payment Bond in the full amount of the Contract, and proof of Contractor's Excise Tax License. The City of Yankton reserves the right to hold all bids for up to sixty days, to reject any and all bids, to waive defects, and to accept any bid deemed in the public good. The City also reserves the right to reject the bid of any party who has been delinquent or unfaithful in the performance of any former contract. As a condition of responsibility, every Bidder or Offeror must submit, within five days after bid opening, information on Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) firm participation, including names and addresses, description of work, dollar amount, a written statement of commitment, written confirmation from each DBE, and evidence of good faith efforts if unable to meet the advertised DBE goal. Federal, state, and local requirements regarding nondiscrimination, labor standards, and trade restrictions apply to this contract, as well as prohibitions on certain unmanned aircraft systems and requirements for compliance with federal civil rights statutes and regulations.
