Renovation of a swimming pool in Christiansburg, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 75-square-foot swimming pool.
**As of February 26, 2026 project has been awarded to DeHart Tile Company with an amount $37,997.99.** The intent and purpose of this request is to find a Contractor to re-tile the tiles on each side of the trench that surrounds all three pools at the Christiansburg Aquatic Center. The work includes removal of existing tile (3-tile widths on each side of the trenches totaling 1,120 linear feet), installation of new tile to match existing (Keystones Field Tile, 2"x2", marble unglazed), and 75 square feet of tile repair. All work should include a 12-month warranty starting from the Town's acceptance of the completed project. Contractors must provide three references for similar recent work, act as the primary contractor with no subcontracting, and provide proof of a business license for the locality before work begins. Bidders must ensure quotes are received by the submission deadline and follow submission labeling instructions for electronic or hard-copy delivery. No pre-bid meeting will be held; bidders may visit the site during regular hours for inspection assistance at the front desk.
