The bids are for a public works project which consists of improvements on Park and Orchard Streets involving installation of an approximately 1,500 If of 8 inch diameter potable water pipeline (removal of the existing in areas of conflicts) and related connections to existing water mains and improvements, temporary water high line system, pavement removal , excavation, thrust blocks, miscellaneous water improvements, pressure testing, flushing and disinfection, bacteriological testing, backfill and compaction, replacement trench paving, removal of 325 linear feet of existing 6 inch diameter VCP sewer pipe and replacement with 6 inch diameter PVC pipe, manhole replacement, pavement grind and 2.5 inch overlay of both streets, digout areas, minor curb and gutter replacement and sidewalk replacement and other incidental and appurtenant work necessary for the proper construction of the contemplated improvement, as indicated on the project plans, in the City of Santa Paula.
