Demolition, site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Calgary, Alberta. Design plans call for the construction of a 25-unit multi-residential development; retail development; for site work for a multi-residential development; and for the demolition of a multi-residential development.
Redevelopment of the former Enmax Substation #4 parcel for affordable housing purposes. The project will build up to twenty five (25) new homes in the community of Marda Loop. Along with housing, the project will explore mixed-use opportunities at-grade which may include commercial or live-work units that respond to the unique site opportunities and provide the community with a project that integrates with the surrounding community fabric. Tier 2 National Energy Code of Canada for Buildings (NECB) energy performance will be targeted. TIMELINE: RFP for design services has been awarded. Phase 1 scope includes investigating the scope of building demolition and rehabilitation, along with any overhead powerline burial requirements to accommodate a proposed building, in coordination with CH and Enmax. Construction is planned for 2027. Further update may be available mid-2026.
