The project scope includes, but is not limited to, the following major work items: Structural improvements and rehabilitation at Equalization Basin (EQB) Nos. 1-6; Replacememt of an 18-inch drain line, butterfly valve and appurtenances in Valve Vault 3D (VV#D), in addition to replacement of 18-inch piping and a new manhole downstream of the vault; Installation of manual water cannons and replacement of W3 water piping and appurtenances at EQB Nos. 1-6; Replacement of two 72-inch butterfly valvles and actuators upstream of he EQB Nos. 1 & 2 and 3 & 4 splitter boxes, along with installation of new access manways; Replacement of four 60-inch butterfly gates with 60-inch slide gates and electric actuators at the EQB Nos. 1 & 2 and 3 & 4 splitter boxes, along with associated electrical improvements; Structural improvements and rehabilitation at the Onsite Storage Basin (OSSB); Improvements to the basin cleaning system at the OSSB, including replacement of the existing five butterfly gates on the OSSB partition wall with slide gates and installation of two new slide gates on the OSSB partition wall, along with associated electrical and instrumentation and controls improvements; Improvements to the OSSB underdrain system; Installation of manual water cannons on the OSSB partition wall; Abandonment of the existing underdrain pump stations within the OSSB and construction of a new underdrain/sump pump station south of the OSSB, along with all associated piping, including microtunneling, fill and grading, electrical and instrumentation for a functional pump station; Replacement of the effluent trough covers at Primary Clarifier 5-8 (PC5-8); Replacement of electric actuators on the influent slide gates at the PC5-8 splitter box; Replacement of the EQB Nos. 5 and 6 effluent (step feed) flow meter; Repairs to the Contruction Management Trailer; Replacement of Motor Control Center No. 3 (MCC-3); and Replacement of Substation J.
