This invitation to tender concerns the replacement, repair, and addition of semi-rigid guardrails on the Alpha and Bravo tracks at Transport Canada’s Motor Vehicle Test Centre, located in Blainville, Quebec. The project consists of the demolition and replacement of all posts, wooden spacer blocks, and hardware of the existing semi-rigid safety guardrails (approximately 3,200 linear metres); the demolition for replacement or dismantling for reinstallation of the existing double-corrugated steel rail profiles of the semi-rigid safety guardrails, based on the assumption that 50% of these components may be reused (approximately 3,200 linear metres); and the installation of semi-rigid safety guardrail end terminals (18 units).
