Emergency Repair and Debris Removal in New Mexico involves comprehensive debris removal operations to ensure compliance with FEMA guidelines, where applicable, and eligibility requirements. The State of New Mexico supports disaster-impacted jurisdictions with response and recovery operations post-disaster, which may include Federal declared disasters, State declared disasters, or other events requiring emergency repairs and/or debris removal. The emergency repairs and/or debris removal may be required of, but are not limited to, State owned infrastructure, infrastructure owned by local jurisdictions, or privately owned infrastructure. Immediate emergency repairs and/or debris removal are essential activities to protect public health, safety, and the environment. Scope of work covers activities such as excavation services; construction and repair of bridges, canals, highways, roads, pipe culverts, sewers, streets, and viaducts; maintenance and repair services; paving/resurfacing; asbestos, architectural, construction, geological, and environmental consulting; engineering and surveying services; environmental remediation and site assessment; traffic and transportation engineering; air quality and environmental monitoring; conservation and forestry management; project and waste management; hauling, mapping, and dump site services; recovery, recycling, and reclamation operations; erosion control and flood control; landscaping, roadside maintenance, and tree removal services; and monitoring services for disaster debris and recovery. Bidders are expected to perform work in accordance with applicable guidelines and requirements and may be called upon for a wide range of related emergency response and recovery services.
