The Department of Natural Resources is seeking bids for: the labor, equipment, materials, tools, transportation, and incidentals necessary to perform full surface milling and overlaying of approximately 20,000 square feet of the parking lot at Forest Lake #2 Public Water Access (PWA) in Washington County. Reclaim the existing 2" of bituminous and aggregate base to a 6" depth. Grade and compact reclaimed material. Then pave with 2" of bituminous base and 1-1/2" bituminous wear per MN DOT typical surface section. Parking lot grades need to remain the same as before the project to meet ADA guidelines and handicap stall shall not exceed 2%. Topsoil preparation, seeding and mulching of pavement edge are also included in this project. Failure to respond to latest event version may result in bid rejection. Unit price must include all costs such as labor, materials, tools, transportation, equipment, sales tax, use tax and all else necessary for completion of the project. Direct Pay Permit 1114 does not apply to this project. Award--Item, Group, Total: Responses that do not comply with the solicitation will be considered nonresponsive and will be rejected. The award will be made to the lowest responsible vendor meeting the specifications and all terms and conditions. The State reserves the right to award items separately, by grouping items, or by total, whichever is deemed most advantageous to the State.
