The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment for site preparation, foundations, exterior lighting, utility locating, trenching, security cameras, landscaping, permits, and zoning processes required for the project. All work shall comply with the Statement of Work, drawings, specifications, and any applicable manufacturer-recommended installation procedures. The project is located at the fuel farm and additional locations on the Roseburg VAMC campus and includes demolition and construction of a new fuel farm. At Building 2, the contractor shall remove and decommission the existing 1,000-gallon fuel tank and replace it with a new 1,000-gallon above-ground fuel tank on a new 8-inch-thick concrete slab foundation, along with a new fence with privacy screening similar to the Building 3 HVAC fencing, and 50-mph concrete-filled crash bollards. At Building 7, the existing 12,000-gallon fuel tank shall be moved to the fuel farm to serve as fuel oil storage for boilers, and a new 2,500-gallon above-ground fuel tank shall be purchased and installed for the Building 7 generator. At the fuel farm, the contractor shall remove and decommission existing underground storage tanks consisting of a 2,500-gallon diesel tank, a 1,000-gallon gasoline tank, and two 15,000-gallon fuel oil (diesel) tanks. The 12,000-gallon tank relocated from Building 7 shall be installed for boiler fuel oil use. New tanks to be added include a 20,000-gallon fuel oil tank for boilers and a 2,500-gallon gasoline tank. Work includes installation of 50-mph concrete-filled crash bollards, all new dispensaries and associated equipment, all new electrical, data, and communications systems and equipment, and all new concrete, foundation, and structural components and associated equipment. The period of performance is 365 calendar days after receipt of the notice to proceed.
