The project includes the furnishing of all labor and materials for the construction, complete in-place, of the following approximate quantities: 7,100 linear feet of remove and replace concrete curb and gutter; 8,600 square feet of remove and replace concrete walk; 37,200 square yards of mill bituminous surface; 4,500 square yards of full depth reclamation; 5,350 square yards of trail removal and paving; 1,350 square yards of parking lot removal and paving; 4,515 tons of Type SP 9.5 Wearing Course Mix (3,C); 1,000 tons of bituminous patch special; 100 each adjust rame & ring casting (sanitary & storm); 802 square feet of prefabricated modular block retaining wall; 3,730 square feet of sheet pile wall; 25 each adjust gate valve; 80 linear feet of 4"-6" TP pipe drain; 700 linear feet of 15"-27" RC pipe; 3 each 15"-18" RC FES; 30 linear feet construct drainage structures DES 48-4020 & 72-4020; 2 each design special (2'x3'); 3,900 cubic yards common excavation; 3,900 cubic yards common embankment; 1,300 cubic yards subgrade excavation; 4,300 cubic yards excavation - channel and pond; 250 cubic yards structural backfill; 35,000 square yards seeding and restoration; 2,500 cubic yards aggregate base class 5. Bids must be submitted electronically using BidVAULT. Only registered planholders are allowed to bid. Bidders are responsible for all downloads, including addendums. The cost to submit a bid is $25 plus vendor convenience fee. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond for 5% of the bid amount, to be forfeited as liquidated damages if the bidder fails to enter into a contract and furnish the required bond. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive informalities, or accept the bid that best serves the Owner's interests. No bids may be withdrawn for 60 days from opening. Contractors must meet the criteria for a "responsible contractor" as defined in Minn. Stat. 16C.285, subd. 3, and submit a signed statement under oath verifying compliance with the criteria. A prime contractor must provide verification from all subcontractors upon request. Submission of a false statement makes the contractor ineligible for award and may result in termination of the contract.
