Description

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Stanton, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

Sealed proposals are requested for Overband Crack Sealing. All bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly marked as 'OVERBAND CRACK SEALING.' Faxed or emailed bids will not be accepted. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all portions of the bids and to accept the bid that is considered to be in the best interest of the Montcalm County Road Commission. It is the intent of the Road Commission for Montcalm County to contract for Overband Crack Sealing on State trunklines, county primary and local roads in Montcalm County for the county calendar year 2026. A. Quantity: o Estimated quantity is 3500 lbs. per road bed mile. o Scheduling will be arranged by the Road Commission Engineering Department. The Contractor must have equipment and labor available within five days' notice of a job. o When contractor starts, they will be expected to stay and complete the job unless prior arrangements are made. o Certified weigh tickets may be required. B. Locations (Various): o State trunklines o Primary county roads o Local county roads o Municipalities may also use this bid price C. Safety Requirements: Contractor shall be responsible for providing any safety materials in accordance with current MIOSHA and MDOT Standards and Regulations that are required for this specific type of work.
