It is the intent of the City of Grand Prairie, Texas, to select a Professional Firm to design rehabilitation/improvements of the Traders Village Elevated Storage Tank based on the preliminary assessment and OPCC provided in Attachment A. Submissions must include the requested information in the prescribed sequence and format. Firms may also provide supplementary materials describing qualifications, capabilities, and experience. The submission must include: firm name, address, contact information, statement of interest and qualifications, firm history, project leader and team members with detailed resumes, discussion of the firm's abilities and qualifications relevant to the project, examples of knowledge and expertise related to similar projects, references from other municipalities, a detailed project plan including timeline and expected results, expectations of City staff, Certificate of Insurance, and completed Historically Underutilized Business forms. Submissions must be clear and complete. No fees or costs are to be included with the initial submission; these will be negotiated with the most qualified firm. The city reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive formalities. The city also reserves the right to purchase these items through state-awarded contracts or other intergovernmental agreements when it is in the city's best interest.
