Road Name: Resurface and Safety Imprvmts Suncoast Pkway (Sr589) Limits: 10470000 Total Roadway Length: 3.703 Miles Contract Days: 312 Total Bridge Length: 0.049 Miles Total Proposal Length: 3.752 Miles Contract Execution Days: 10 Special Start Date: N/A Aquis/Flexible Start Time: 120 Description: Work consists of providing all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals necessary for milling and resurfacing, widening, base work, guardrail, traffic signal loops, pavement markings, highway signing, bridge joint rehabilitation, and other incidental construction on Suncoast Pkwy (SR 589) from MP 14.3 to 17.5 in Hillsborough County. No Pre-Bid Conference. Contractor must be prequalified. Question Deadline 03/03/2026 at 5:00 PM ET, Direct all questions to the Department by posting them to the Department's website. Questions posted to this site before 5:00 P.M. (EST) on the tenth calendar day prior to the bid opening, will be responded to by the Department. For questions posted after this deadline, an answer cannot be assured. For bids over $150,000.00, the standard proposal guaranty of 5% of the bid will be required, unless otherwise stipulated in the proposal advertisement. A Proposal Guaranty of not less than five percent (5%) of the total actual bid in the form of either a certified check, cashier's check, trust company treasurer's check, bank draft of any national or state bank, or a Surety Proposal Guaranty made payable to the Florida Department of Transportation must be received for each bid in excess of $150,000.00 A 100% Payment and Performance Bond will be required for all projects.
