Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Perth, Ontario. Completed plans call for the construction of a 15,475-square-foot, one-story above grade municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

The Work under this Contract includes the supply of all labour, materials, equipment, supervision, permits, and incidentals necessary to complete the construction of a new Environmental Services Garage facility at 15 Sunset Boulevard, Perth, Ontario. The Work generally consists of: - Construction of a new approximately 1,437.67 m2 (15,475 ft2) one-story Environmental Services Garage building. - Site preparation, grading, excavation, servicing, and restoration required to accommodate the new facility. - Construction of a slab-on-grade building and a storage mezzanine. - Construction of a prefabricated garage structure containing five drive-through vehicle bays, including one wash bay, and one additional mechanical service bay. - Construction of a wood-frame administration area including offices, training room, kitchen, washrooms, and associated support spaces. - Connection and coordination of all required building services, including electrical, mechanical, communications, and utility connections to existing site infrastructure. - Installation of all architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and communication systems as specified in the Contract Documents. - Construction of associated site works, including foundations, paving, drainage, utility connections, landscaping restoration, and all ancillary works required for a complete and operational facility. - Partial demolition of existing shop to make it a fully functional weather-proof building for cold storage with existing construction practices. Work plan for its completion includes, but is not limited to: partial demolition of existing garage (two southern bays), weather proofing, installation of corrugated steel of exterior finish (match detail of existing façade), and localized roofing repairs. This work will occur after occupancy of the new garage. - Testing, commissioning, balancing, training, and provision of all closeout documentation required for occupancy and operation of the facility. The existing Public Works Garage, Environmental Services Shop, Water Treatment Plant, and associated municipal facilities shall remain operational throughout construction. Municipal operations are considered twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week. It is a requirement of this contract that all work be completed according to the following schedule: Start Date: September 1, 2026 and agreed upon schedule upon contract award with a completion Date of August 31, 2027.
