Remodeling of a mixed-use development in Loves Park, Illinois. Completed plans call for the remodel of a educational facility.
Bids are invited from qualified flooring contractors acting as prime contractors or general contractors. The work includes, but is not limited to, the removal of the existing flooring and the installation of new flooring and related work required at Donald C. Parker Early Education Center, 808 Harlem Road, Machesney Park, IL and Harlem High School, 9229 North Alpine Road, Machesney Park, IL. This work is to be awarded as a single contract and will include all work shown. See the drawings and specifications for additional information. A bid security of 10% of the bid is required with the proposal. The contractor shall not pay less than the prevailing rates of wages to all laborers and workmen performing work under this contract and shall comply with the requirements of the Illinois Wages of Employees on Public Works Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). Sealed bids for the contract, submitted in duplicate, shall be received on or before, but not later than the specified deadline. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time in a location to be designated at the district office. Bidders are invited to be present at the bid opening.
