Renovation of an educational facility in Lees Summit, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The scope of work includes the replacement of existing casework throughout the school, replacement of plumbing fixtures within the casework, and replacement of the existing folding partitions with permanent wall systems and associated electrical work. The project will be bid as one Prime Contract. Instructions to bidders: Bids must be submitted under seal to the Owner and received at Facilities Services, 502 SE Transport Drive in Lee's Summit, MO. Bids received after 2:00 pm will be returned unopened. Bid documents can be purchased online or from Drexel Technologies. A bid bond of five percent (5%) of the bid is required. The successful bidder must provide a Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each for the full contract amount. All labor must comply with State Prevailing Wage Laws, and weekly wage payments must be at least the prevailing rate for Jackson County, as established by the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations. All contractors must verify employees are not on the Missouri Sex Offender Registry or similar registries in other states, and must use the USCIS E-Verify program to confirm employment eligibility. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and waive irregularities in bids.
