Site work, renovation and addition to an educational facility in Laval, Quebec. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a 35,000-square-foot educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; for the addition of a 110,000-square-foot, two-story above grade, 13,000-seat educational facility; and educational facility.
Expansion of the College facilities including the construction of a new building to respond to a faced lack of space. This problem will be exacerbated by the increase in the number of enrollments expected by 2029. Space must therefore be added so that the establishment has adequate capacity for its future students. The new building will be intender to house the arts education programs and will welcome 1300 new students. The area of the new facility will be as high as 13,404 m2. The scope of the project also includes redevelopment of approximately 3,294 m2 of existing areas. Note. The owner has issued a tender for contractor for demolition of the complex pool that is now followed in the report under CRM ID name Swimming Pool Project, Phase 1 - Demolition. TIMELINE: Following a contract agreement B25-1627/20121803 the owner has awarded an architectural professional consultant for the preparation of a functional and technical program of the project. Preliminary studies and concept establishment are underway. Scope of work, project budget and timelines of the project development will be finalized based on the FTP report. Further update in fall 2026.
