Food services fire alarm system replacement at the Fort Simcoe Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center involving commercial services performed under FAR Part 12. Work includes providing all labor, equipment, materials, and services necessary to remove the existing system and furnish and install a new fire alarm system in accordance with the requirements, clauses, instructions, and evaluation criteria specified in Attachment 1. Contractors will participate in a scheduled site visit to gain a clearer understanding of the work and must submit all required offer materials as outlined in AGAR 452.215-71(c). All questions must be submitted in writing by the deadline, and offers must be delivered by the closing date and time. Work for this project requires the contractor to be responsible for supplying all labor, materials, equipment, utilities, miscellaneous items, freight and delivery and all necessary valid licenses for the work summarized as follows: 1. Remove damaged fire alarm control panel (FACP) and indicated components. 2. Provide shop drawings for approval for replacement system indicated in these specifications and drawings. 3. Install new system components per approved shop drawings and code requirements. 4. Test all system components for correct operation per NFPA standards and correct any deficiencies found. Re-test and prepare and submit inspection report upon completion.
