Sealed bids are requested for the construction of a Pedestrian Tunnel for Collinsville Area Vocational Center. Bidders are required to submit a bid security in the amount of five percent of the proposal. The security can be a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond issued by a surety authorized to conduct business in the State of Illinois. Construction Phase 62 days Wed 5/27/26 Thu 8/20/26 Work involves construction of a new pedestrian tunnel below Caseville Road to allow students to pass from the new CAVC building to Collinsville High School. Included with the work are walkways on either side of the tunnel along with water/sewer and other modifications necessary for the tunnel construction. Project Location: 2201 S. Morrison Avenue, Collinsville, IL 62234 Q/A:- Should a bidder find discrepancies, ambiguities, and/or omissions from Documents, or be in doubt of their meaning, bidder shall at once, and in any event not later than Thursday, February 19 at 5:00pm, notify the Owner by completing the Request for Clarification form who will include a written response to all bidders via addendum. All RFCs shall be sent to Holland Construction Services, Justin Layton, jlayton@hollandcs.com. Oral communication shall not be binding.
