Site work for a water / sewer project in El Dorado Hills, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The El Dorado Hills Raw Water Pump Station Surge Tank Bladder is in need of replacement. The surge tank is one of two at the station and is used during high demand seasons to mitigate water surges during operation. The bladder is removed through the manhole at the top of the tank and also acts as a gasket to the pipe spool underneath. The District will supply the replacement bladder. The surge tank weighs 19,000 lbs and its location is adjacent to a steep incline, requiring an appropriately sized crane and dunnage for lifting. The objective is to replace the failed bladder with a new bladder to bring the pump station back into service. The selected contractor must provide all project management, submit a detailed schedule to the District, and provide updates as requested. Contractors must submit a preliminary project plan as part of their proposal, including proposed work limits, required equipment, and necessary personnel. Required services include providing all needed services to complete the project, including crane services, disassembly and reassembly of the tank and/or appurtenances, and bladder removal and installation. It is the Contractor's responsibility to ensure compliance with all labor laws and regulations, including payroll certification and Department of Industrial Relations registration for the duration of the work. Proposals must be submitted as a single PDF via email by the specified deadline and must use District-supplied forms where applicable. The proposer is responsible for ensuring the proposal is received by the District prior to the deadline. Withdrawal of proposals is allowed only by written request before the submittal deadline. Proposers must fully inform themselves of all terms, conditions, and specifications to avoid errors. Prices should be listed in units and quoted separately for each item. Consultants must comply with all applicable nondiscrimination laws. Questions must be submitted by the specified deadline, and any clarifications will be communicated via formal written addenda, which are binding and must be obtained from the District's website. Pre-Bid Meeting Info:- Attendees will be expected to tour the job site during the pre-bid meeting. Please advise the Project Manager, Kevin Reagle, in advance of the meeting if you need special accommodations. Reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate your needs. All company representatives must sign in by 9:00 a.m. and submit a signed WAIVER AND GENERAL RELEASE FOR ACCESS TO DISTRICT PROPERTY as attached in EXHIBIT C. All who attend the pre-bid meeting and job walk will be required to provide their own personal transportation to and from the Project site.
