Demolition and site work for a library in Wynne, Arkansas. Completed plans call for the demolition of a library; and for site work for a library.
On Behalf of the Cross County Library Board of Trustees, the East Central Arkansas Regional Library Will Accept Bids for the Demolition of Library-owned Properties Furnishing the supplies, materials and/or services as described below and tabulated for presentation to the Library Board in a meeting called for such purpose. It is the intent to obtain prices for demolition of library-owned structure/s at 104 Merriman Avenue, East in Wynne, Arkansas. This is a double bay structure commonly known as the Burnett Building. Asbestos abatement has already been performed on the structure. The Library may terminate this contract by 15 days written notice if it is found that the awarded contractor has failed to meet his/her obligations as directed by these specifications and no monetary damage will be given for unfinished job. 1.) The Contractor shall begin demolition within 14 (fourteen) working days from the date the Library issues Purchase Order, weather permitting. 2) All debris will be removed from the property by the contractor. Tipping fees will be paid by the Contractor. 3) After demolition, the property will be smoothed and leveled. All foundations and concrete slabs will be removed. In the event that a hole is left on the property, it will be filled by the contractor at his/her expense as a part of this bid. Field dirt only (no clay or gravel) 4) The bidder will attach proof of liability with this bid 5) The Cross County Library Board nor the East Central Arkansas Regional Library Board will not be liable for any accidents in the performance of the work performed by contractor. 6) The Contractor will be responsible for any and all damages done to property or properties which are not in the scope of the demolition. It is strongly recommended that the Contractor confer with the Regional Librarian to determine properties included in the scope of demolition. 7) The Library will review all bidders and evaluate the work performance to determine the best and appropriate bidder. 8) Contractor will provide proof of being bonded. 9) Contractor will have a valid and paid Privilege License with the City of Wynne or a reciprocating municipality.
