The County of Nassau desires to retain a Firm or Firms to provide Electricity Purchase and Delivery Services to the County. The purpose is to establish a Program for the purchase and delivery of electricity to various County Facilities. Proposals must be submitted after careful examination of the complete RFP and its requirements. The selected firm will be required to provide proof of general and professional liability insurance in minimum amounts of $2,000,000 in the aggregate and $1,000,000 per occurrence, respectively. Proposers must comply with a good faith effort M/WBE goal and a minimum of 6% SDVOB goal for this project, and adhere to requirements of Local Laws No. 14-2002 (Participation by Minority Group Members and Women in Nassau County Contracts) and 2-2016 (Participation of Service-Disabled Veterans in County Contracts). Technical proposals must include information on compliance with these local laws, and a MWBE Utilization Plan must be submitted with each Proposal.
