The County is seeking proposals from qualified respondents for elevator maintenance and repair services at the Frank J. Guarini Justice Complex. The selection will be based on the qualifications of the firm, key staff assigned to the project, the firm's understanding of the project’s purposes, goals and objectives, and the proposed work activities by task. Proposals must detail the qualifications, experience, and expertise of the consultant and any sub-consultants, include descriptions of relevant projects, and provide resumes of key personnel (limited to two pages each). Respondents must submit a New Jersey Business Registration, proof of compliance with the Public Works Contractor Registration Act, and evidence of contractor and subcontractor registration with the New Jersey Department of Labor, Division of Wage and Hour Compliance, prior to the award of the contract. Submissions must also include a cashier's check, certified check or bid bond payable to the County in a sum equal to ten percent of the bid (not to exceed $20,000), a certificate from a qualified surety company for performance bonds, a statement of ownership disclosure form, a list of subcontractors, and all required bid forms with acknowledgment of addenda. Respondents must comply with all applicable statutes and regulations regarding worker safety, labor hours, compensation insurance, labor preferences and prohibitions, anti-discrimination, and municipal rules. All forms marked as required in the Specifications' Checklist must be properly executed and included with the bid. Proposals must be physically delivered in a sealed package to the County’s Division of Purchasing and responses must be made on the forms included within the RFP. Late submissions and incomplete addenda forms will be rejected. Faxed or emailed proposals will not be accepted.
