Sealed bids are requested for the siting, licensing, installation, and annual maintenance—including National Airspace Data Interchange Network (NADIN) connection—of an Automated Weather Observation System III with Present Weather Sensor and Thunder Strike Alert (AWOS III PT) to replace an existing Automated Weather Observation System. Work must be performed in accordance with FAA Advisory Circular 150/5220-16, the latest version, and FAA Order 6560-20B, or the latest version. Siting and licensing are required if relocating the system. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each for the full contract price, executed by a surety company authorized to do business in Texas. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier’s check, money order, teller’s check, or bid bond in the amount of two percent (2%) of the total bid price as a guarantee. The Owner reserves the right to reject irregular bids and waive technicalities in the Owner's best interest. There is no HUB goal set. Minority enterprises are assured full opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against on grounds of race, color, or national origin.
