The Housing Authority of the Cherokee Nation is seeking bids for the rehabilitation of one home located in Rogers County. The work must be completed according to the work write-up and finished within 14 working days. Work should begin within two weeks of notification, and a charge of $100.00 per working day will be applied for extensions beyond the contract end date. Bidders must fully complete the Mandatory Bid Response sheet and the Work Write Up. To receive preference, bidders should be TERO certified through the Cherokee Nation Tribal Employment Rights Office, and proof of certification must accompany the submission. The successful bidder must comply with all Tribal rules and regulations and TERO requirements. Bids must be submitted by the deadline and it is the bidder's responsibility to ensure delivery. Late bids will not be considered. Bidders are responsible for the costs of bid preparation and submission. No bids may be withdrawn within 30 days after the due date. The authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to determine if a bid meets the requirements. Preference will be given to Indian Organizations and Indian Owned Economic Enterprises with proper certification, and TERO fees and agreements apply. The successful bidder must submit all fees and paperwork to TERO for the contract to be considered fully executed. The project is subject to Davis-Bacon wage rates as specified. Contractors and subcontractors must agree to HUD instructions and conditions included in the bid packet.
