Renovation of a water / sewer project in Bensley, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

Scope of Work: This project consists of, but isn't limited to the following: This project consists of replacement of the existing coagulant system in the Chemical Building, including construction of a new outdoor containment area adjacent to the building and installation of a temporary alum system to remain in service throughout the construction duration. This project also includes electrical, HVAC and plumbing upgrades in the Chemical Building, as well as a rehabilitation of the Advanced Wastewater Treatment (AWT) Settling Tanks equipment, installation of a fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) cover over the AWT effluent trough, installation of an inline phosphorus analyzer system, and replacement of the lime slurry dosing pumps in the Lime Facility. Site work includes installation of new buried coagulant and lime slurry chemical lines and a new fiber duct bank between the Lime Facility, Chemical Building, and the aeration reactors and Digesters 3 and 4. Site work also includes installation of a truck unloading containment area.
