**As of April 03, 2026, the project was awarded to Champion Asphalt Maintenance. but the awarded amount is not available.** This project involves painting various pavement markings on county highways. Work will be conducted according to the bid specifications, and all goods, materials, and equipment supplied must meet or exceed these specifications. Vendors may offer alternative "or equal" items, provided they supply documentation establishing equality of construction, operation, and utility, which the County will evaluate. Award of the contract will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible vendor, either in part or whole. The County does not guarantee any minimum or maximum purchases as a result of this bid and reserves the right to purchase goods or services included in this bid through any legally available means. Bid instructions include: - Sealed bid responses must indicate on the outside envelope: the project name and bid number, opening date and time, and the company name. - Alternate pricing, products, or services must be submitted as a separate bid package under separate cover. - The bid must include: a completed bid form, organizational acknowledgment, signed and notarized non-collusion affidavit, signed and notarized statement on sexual harassment, insurance certificates, statement on stormwater damage, NYS DOL certification, literature for items offered (if applicable), IRS W-9 form, and any other required information. - Proof of insurance must accompany all bids and quotes, and the insurance requirements include commercial general liability, automobile liability, workers' compensation, and disability insurance, as detailed in the insurance requirements section. - All vendors and subcontractors must register with the New York State Department of Labor before submitting bids or commencing work on projects covered by Article 8 of the Labor Law. - All work must comply with prevailing wage laws, and proof of OSHA 10 safety training is required for workers on projects of $250,000 or more. - No electronic responses are accepted for this project. All documents must be submitted in physical form before the specified deadline. Failure to comply with these instructions or to provide necessary documentation may result in the bid being considered non-responsive and subject to rejection.
