Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the proposal, payable to the Charter Township of Shelby, as security for the acceptance of the contract. A bid bond on the Michigan Standard Form, issued by an approved Surety Company, may be furnished in lieu of a certified check. Contractor shall furnish a performance bond and a payment bond, each in an amount at least equal to the Contract Price, as security for the faithful performance and payment of all of Contractor's obligations under the Contract.
