Reference Number 0000412390 The approximate quantities involved in this work are as follows: Sidewalk, Rem 4,058 SYD Sidewalk, Conc, 4 inch 29,497 SFT Sidewalk, Conc, 6 inch 2,244 SFT Sidewalk, Conc, 8 inch 694 SFT Curb Ramp, Conc, 6 inch 3,456 SFT And related appurtenances, traffic control and maintenance, clean-up, and restoration. Removing and replacing defective sidewalks and driveway approaches at locations as marked by the Township engineer, sidewalk ramps with detectable warning tiles, root cutting, and related work. Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the proposal, payable to the Charter Township of Shelby, as security for the acceptance of the contract. A bid bond on the Michigan Standard Form, issued by an approved Surety Company, may be furnished in lieu of a certified check. Contractor shall furnish a performance bond and a payment bond, each in an amount at least equal to the Contract Price, as security for the faithful performance and payment of all of Contractor's obligations under the Contract. No bidder may withdraw his proposal within ninety (60) calendar days after the date set for opening thereof. This time frame may be adjusted through material agreement between the Owner and Contractor. The right to accept any bid, to reject any or all proposals and to waive irregularities in bidding is reserved by the Charter Township of Shelby.
