The City of Little Rock Department of Housing and Neighborhood Programs is seeking a qualified and experienced contractor to provide Roof Replacement and Electrical services to a residential home located at 2615 Longcoy St., Little Rock, AR 72204. Questions Due Date Online Portal Deadline to submit Questions Feb 12th 2026, 12:00 PM CST Any questions or inquiries regarding a bid solicitation must be submitted prior to the Questions Due Date. Questions Due Date is listed under "Important Events." Once this date has passed, no further communication shall occur between City of Little Rock and suppliers or service providers Roof Replacement g. Contractor must provide a five (5) year warranty on roofing labor provided to the structure. Contractor must submit a statement providing five (5) year roofing labor warranty on structure with address. h. Contractor must provide documentation to show two (2) years ofroofing and rehab experience. Roofing includes, reroofing (overlay), repair, complete tear off, and re-roofing. i. Contractor must have experience in completing roofing projects that require permits. Must provide documentation to show five (5) jobs were completed, with permits that were pulled. j. Contractor understands that he or she must inspect the property. Submission of a bid is presumptive evidence that the bidder has thoroughly examined the site and is conversant with the requirements of the local jurisdiction. k. Contractors must inspect all roofs to verify proper quantity of measurement to provide an estimate of replacement cost. All roofs must be inspected by the Community Development Inspector after the roofing materials have been removed down to the decking. All damaged decking must be inspected and replaced. l. The Contractor acknowledges to remove from site all construction materials, tools and debris. Sweep clean all exterior work areas. Vacuum all interior work areas, removing all visible dust, stains, labels and tags. Clean all windows referenced in specifications. Electrical Repair m. Prior to the start of work, the contractor shall create any documentation necessary to apply for, pay for and receive an electrical permit on behalf of the owner. Contractor must provide a copy of paid permit to Community Development Inspector after work has been completed. n. The contractor acknowledges that all work shall be performed by mechanics both licensed and skilled in their particular trade as well as the tasks assigned to them. Workers shall protect all surfaces as long as required to eliminate damage. o. Contractor must adhere to the description of work to perform work according to the Description of Work. p. Failure of bidder to be familiar with the structure does not relieve the vendor of the responsibility of requirements.
