Description

Furnish and deliver cold water meters, meter transceiver units (MXU), and accessories. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond payable to the City Treasurer of the City of New Brunswick in the amount of ten percent of the bid, not to exceed twenty thousand dollars. Bids that require a performance bond must also contain a consent of surety. Bidders must comply with requirements of P.L. 1963, C.150; P.L. 1975, N.J.A.C. 17:27, N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., P.L. 1977, C.33; P.L. 1999, and with C.238. The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids or any part thereof, waive informalities, and award the bid in the best interest of the City.
