Demolition, site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Unity Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The project includes the replacement of an existing culvert under Kingston Club Road (T-674) with a new pipe arch culvert and the realignment and reconstruction of approximately 450 linear feet of Kingston Club Road in the vicinity of the culvert replacement. All bid proposals must be accompanied by a Bid Bond with either a Corporate Surety or a certified or cashier's check payable to the Derry Township Supervisors, in an amount equal to ten percent of the total Base Bid Proposal. Corporate Sureties must be registered in the State of Pennsylvania. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty days after filing. Contractors must adhere to Act 127 of 2012 (Public Works Employment Verification Act). The Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Requirement applies. The bituminous price index in accordance with PennDOT Form 408 is applicable. The Derry Township Supervisors reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in bids received.
