Renovation of an educational facility in Muskegon, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and educational facility.
Muskegon Area Intermediate School District will receive separate proposals from qualified contractors for two new construction projects: a new classroom divider/wall at the New CTC Classroom and Maintenance Facility located at 1795 Stebbins Road, Muskegon, MI 49442; and renovation of two existing restrooms at Wesley School, 915 Wesley Avenue, Muskegon, MI 49442. The Owner will enter into one contract for each project with the successful General Contractor, who is fully responsible for all trades and coordination of all required work between trades. The Owner's goal is to complete both projects by July of 2026. All proposals must be sealed in envelopes, labeled "MAISD Classroom Divider and Restroom Projects," and received prior to 2:00 P.M., local time, on Thursday, February 26th, 2026. All bidders are required to furnish bid security in the amount of five percent of the base bid, indicate the cost of performance and labor and material payment bonds covering 100% of the value of the project, and submit a sworn statement disclosing any familial relationship with members of the School District Board or Superintendent. Bids must also include an Affidavit of Compliance with the Iran Economic Sanctions Act. Applicable Michigan use and sales tax apply. This project does not require prevailing wages. Complete sets of documents may be obtained from Ajax Imaging, and drawings may be viewed at the Architect's office.
