Renovation of a mixed-use development in Worcester, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 4,400-square-foot educational facility.
Location - 55 N LAKE AVENUE WORCESTER, MA 01655 The applicable minority workforce utilization percentage, if any, is 15.3% The applicable women workforce utilization percentage, if any, is 6.9% The Work consists of the Work identified in the Contract Documents. The Work comprises the completed construction required by the Contract Documents and includes all labor, tools, materials, supplies, equipment, permits, approvals, paperwork, calculations, submittals, and certificates necessary to develop, construct and complete the Work in accordance with all Laws, and all construction and other services required to be supervised, overseen, performed or furnished by Contractor or that the Contract Documents require the Contractor to cause to be supervised, overseen, performed or furnished. The Contractor shall provide and perform for the Contract Price all of the duties and obligations set forth in the Contract Documents. All bidding Requests for Information (RFIs) shall be submitted online by 02/26/2026 at 5:00PM EST for filed sub-bids and by 02/26/2026 at 5:00PM EST for general bids. Estimated Cost $1,400,000 This project consists of the renovation of approximately 4,400 square feet of conference space converted to student and residents space in the Medical School Building at UMass Chan Medical School. Sealed sub bids, submitted on a form furnished by the awarding authority, will be received for the categories of painting, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and sprinkler system. Each general bid proposal must be secured by an accompanying deposit of 5% of the total bid amount in the form of a bid bond or certified or treasurer's or cashier's check issued by a responsible bank or trust company payable to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. All bids are subject to the provisions of either or both Mass. G.L., Chapter 30, Section 39M as amended and Mass. G.L., Chapter 149, Section 44A - 44J inclusive.
