The City of Kelowna seeks a qualified Refrigeration Consulting Engineer to provide specialized consulting services for. The consultant is expected to offer technical expertise, strategic guidance, and engineering support to evaluate existing refrigeration infrastructure and identify potential system enhancements. Responsibilities include reviewing current facility conditions, supporting planning for future upgrades, and recommending energy-efficient and sustainable solutions, including heat recovery. The consultant must apply arena refrigeration knowledge, collaborate with stakeholders, and provide input into budgeting and technical recommendations. Key deliverables include feasibility reporting, design support, budgeting guidance, and presentation of findings. The estimated value of the deliverables is not to exceed $1 million for the contract term. Submissions must be delivered through specified methods as indicated.
