Remodeling of a mixed-use development in McFarland, California. Completed plans call for the remodel of a library.
Modernization of the main library space and accessory spaces, including offices, storage rooms, and toilet rooms. Scope of work includes architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical work as outlined on the drawings. The lowest bid shall be the lowest total of the combined bid prices on the base contract and alternates, if any. This is a prevailing wage project. Payment Bond for contracts over $25,000 and a Performance Bond for all contracts will be required prior to commencement of work. It is mandatory for the contractor and subcontractor to pay not less than the specified prevailing wages to all workers employed in the execution of the contract. Instructions to bidders also specify bid submission details, requirements for marked and sealed bid envelopes, and required job walk attendance if applicable. RFI deadline: 3/23/26 by 4:00pm
