Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Augusta, Kansas. Completed plans call for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The project consists of site demolition and clearing, grading, paving, utility extensions, post-construction stormwater management, and construction of three pre-engineered buildings (100'x100' vehicle storage and office, 100'x220' vehicle storage and office, and 30'x320' open vehicle storage) at the Augusta Public Works Campus. The construction manager at risk (CM@R) will provide preconstruction design consulting and construction manager at risk services. Construction costs include all labor, materials, fees, reimbursable expenses, general conditions, permits, quality control testing, and contingency, excluding architect or engineering fees, owner furniture, fixtures, equipment costs, site acquisition, or owner's contingency. The preliminary total construction budget shall not exceed $7,400,000. The CM@R is responsible for preconstruction phase services (cost estimating, budgeting, value engineering, constructability review, scheduling, and planning), providing a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP), constructing the project per documents and schedule, subcontracting through a competitive process, procuring required bonds and insurance, ensuring safety, legal compliance, and submitting monthly activity reports. Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope with three hard copies and one electronic copy (PDF on USB flash drive); facsimile, email, or other electronic or telephonic submissions will not be accepted. Deadline for receiving questions / RFIs Feb 5, 2026 (5:00 pm) Deadline for issuing addenda to RFP February 10, 2026 (12:00 pm) Questions about or requests for clarification or interpretation of the RFP documents shall only be made in writing to the Owner’s Representative and Architectural Representative at the email addresses below no later than the date and time specified in the Project Timeline.
