Bidders must be registered for their bids to be considered. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable use Ohio Products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. Bidders are required to use the forms which will be furnished on application. The project includes the construction of a steel platform with a modular pump house building installed on it, along with the pump, electrical work, and installation of 20" HDPE raw waterline. Each bid must contain the full name of every person or company interested in the same, and be accompanied by a bidding bond or a certified check in the amount of 10% of the bid price as a guaranty that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance secured OR provide a bond for 100% of the bid amount. The Contractor shall be required to pay not less than the prevailing wage rates established by the federal Davis-Bacon Wage Determinations issued by the U.S. Department of Labor. The Contract is funded by WSRLA Loan Funds and their requirements are included herein. This procurement is subject to the EPA Policy of encouraging the participation of Small Business in Rural Areas (SBRAs).
