Old Town Township in McLean County, Illinois will receive sealed proposals for Township Hall Exterior Renovation. Work shall commence on or after May 1 with a completion date no later than October 31. Bids must include proposed start dates and will be evaluated according to further specifications and requirements provided in the bid documents. Bidders must comply with all applicable laws, provide proof of insurance and all required bonds, and pay not less than the prevailing rates of wages per the Prevailing Wage Act. All additional details and requirements are described in the Bid Form/Bidding Documents. This project involves renovations of the exterior of the township town ha l. A general description of the work involved is set forth below and per the attached architectural renderings. Each bidder is responsible for his/her own measurements. Each bidder is responsible for removal and disposal of a l construction debris from such renovations. The final product/deliverable is to be enhanced entrances to the building, new exterior doors, windows, siding and roof, including new soffits, facia and gutters. These specifications include but are not limited to: Remove south and west entrances including concrete pads and adjoining sidewalk. Add new single door/emergency exit to east side of structure that includes commercial grade steel door with appropriate emergency exit opening mechanisms. Add new west side entrance portico, including concrete slab per attached architectural renderings. Remove existing windows and replace them with new insulated windows per attached architectural renderings. Remove existing siding and perform any needed substrate repairs. Replace with cement board exterior siding with color of customers choosing maintaining existing exterior outlets. Remove current shingles, soffit, fascia and gutters replacing with like kind materials and color of customers choosing.
