Separate sealed bids marked for the Town of Haughton Community Development Block Grant Project FY 2025 LCDBG Sewer Rehabilitation will be received for the construction of the FY 2025 LCDBG Sewer Rehabilitation. Proposals must be addressed to the Town of Haughton and delivered to the office of the Engineer. Bidding documents can be examined and obtained from the Engineer for a non-refundable fee. Prime Bidders must obtain documents from the Engineer and have an active Unique Entity ID (SAM) prior to construction. Each bid must include a 5% bid security. The successful bidder must provide Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract. Bonds must comply with U.S. Department of the Treasury requirements. Bidders cannot withdraw bids for forty-five days after opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any bid. The Contractor must begin mobilization and procurement within ten working days of Notice to Proceed. The project is subject to Build America, Buy America Act requirements for material sourcing and the Davis-Bacon Act for wage rates. Bidders must comply with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations and note the required attachments and certifications to be submitted within ten days of bid opening.
