The scope of work includes street improvements to several roadways within Warren County and provides for pavement preparation, pavement striping, traffic control, and other incidental items and work described or reasonably inferable from the project manual. Bidders must request bid documents via email, provide required contact information to be added to the Plan Holders List, and may make their own printed copies of the documents. Project and bidding questions must be submitted exclusively via email. A bid security of five percent of the bid amount is required. Wage rates are predetermined by law. The successful bidder must comply with RSMo 285.530 (1) regarding employment of unauthorized aliens, submit a sworn affidavit and documentation regarding enrollment in the federal work authorization program, and ensure all employees are not illegal immigrants. Upon contract signing, the contractor and any subcontractors must provide a ten-hour OSHA construction safety program for on-site employees within sixty days of beginning work. Businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals will be given full opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry, or national origin in consideration for an award. The Warren County Commission anticipates issuing notice to proceed in May of 2026 The Contractor, acting as an independent contractor, shall faithfully and fully perform the Work described in, and shall do everything required by, the Contract Documents or reasonably inferable therefrom, for the complete construction of the project. The Contractor represents and warrants that he has special skills which qualify him to perform the Work in accordance with the Contract and that he is free to perform all such Work and is not a party to any other agreement, written or oral, the performance of which would prevent or interfere with the performance, in whole or in part, of the Work.
