Prequalification of Contractors for Open Cut Works - Heritage Heights Phase 1. Project 1 - Heritage Heights Phase 1 - 750mm Sub-Transmission Watermain & 1200mm Sanitary Trunk Sewer, Project 24-2223 and 24-1130. Scope: Approximately 1940m of 1200mm sanitary trunk sewer to be installed on Bovaird Drive from Mississauga Road to Future Street 6, located approximately 600m West of Heritage Road. The proposed sewer will connect to an existing 1200mm sewer at the Northwest corner of Bovaird Drive and Mississauga Road. The proposed Sanitary Sewer will be constructed via trenchless methods. The tunneling methodology used to construct the sewer and watermain tunnels is at the discretion of the Constructor, though micro-tunneling is the anticipated methodology. The trenchless sewer installation will include the construction of four (4) tunneling shafts. The proposed 750mm and 400mm watermain will be constructed using a combination of open cut and trenchless methods. The project involves approximately 460m of open cut 400mm watermain, 1,080m of open cut 750mm watermain, and 760m of trenchless 750mm watermain installation within a tunnel liner. The trenchless watermain installation will include the construction of two (2) tunneling shafts. Estimated Tender Schedule: Early 2026. A Performance Bond and labour and Material Payment Bond, each in the amount of 50 per cent of the Contract value, which for the purposes of this prequalification is estimated up to $50M.
