Description

Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Waterhen Lake, Saskatchewan. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.

Construction of a new school for the Waterhen Lake First Nation community, to be delivered in a Design-Build contract structure. Planned infrastructure includes the new school building, a playground, ball diamond, running track and soccer field, parking lot, water and wastewater pipelines, utilities (power, propane, and communication lines), road access, culverts, and landscaping. Site preparation activities will include clearing and grubbing of the proposed site. TIMELINE: A call for Proposals for Architect And Buildings Engineering Services was issued by the owner's agent; further details will not be released for publication. The project is currently under review by the Impact Assessment Agency of Canada. Construction delivery method will be Design-Build. An update may be available by mid-/late 2026.
