Demolition and renovation of an educational facility in Calgary, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The scope of work includes the replacement of electrical equipment in the Science B Building, specifically: 2 bus ducts (208Y 120V, 1000A), 102 electrical panels, a 75kVA Transformer TX-IPZ (600-480Y 277V in room 212V), a 75kVA Transformer TX-2B (208V-208Y 120V in room 042V), and a 45kVA Transformer TX-530 (600 - 208Y 120V in room 512V). The contractor’s responsibilities include demolition of the existing equipment and supply and installation of the replacements. The contractor will participate in detailed planning and scheduling with the project team to minimize outage impacts to building occupants and will engage the selected asbestos abatement contractor for required abatement work.
