Sealed bids are invited for MODIFICATION/UPGRADES TO OAK TREE ROAD (CR 604) & WOOD AVENUE (CR 649), WOODBRIDGE/EDISON (EDI033). Bids must be submitted in the specified manner using the standard bid proposal form, enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the project name and bidder's address. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond for at least 10% of the bid amount, not to exceed $20,000, and a consent of surety letter from a responsible bonding company. Entities/corporations must provide a resolution authorizing the signatory to execute a contract if the bid is accepted. Quantities in the documents are approximate, and the County reserves the right to adjust them within the unit prices provided. Bidders must comply with New Jersey affirmative action and prevailing wage requirements. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids in accordance with applicable law. The lowest responsible bidder must submit Manning Table Form AA201 to the Affirmative Action Office and provide proof of submission to the County before contracting. Failure to comply may result in rescission of the award and responsibility for any difference if the contract is awarded to another bidder. The County will not be responsible for verbal answers to bidder's questions. Inquiries received by the Engineer less than 14 calendar days prior to the bid opening date will not be answered.
