The work includes the reconfiguration and construction of an approximate 130-space surface parking lot in front of the terminal building at Groton New London Airport. It involves the reclamation of the access road and approximately 70,000 square feet of the existing parking lot, with new bituminous concrete pavement placed on the reclaimed surfaces. The remaining paved parking area will be permanently removed and replaced with grass. Additional components of the project include curbing, drainage, utilities (water, sewer, and gas), site lighting, landscaping, EV charging stations, and other site amenities. The contract time for completion is 180 calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed. Federal and state contract provisions apply. Bidders must submit bids electronically through the designated portal as a single file. Registration is required to access bid documents and submit a bid. A certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond equal to five percent of the bid must accompany each bid. The successful bidder must provide a Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each for 100% of the contract price.
