Renovation of a multi-residential development in Bobtown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
The County of Greene is seeking proposals from General Contractors to complete a home rehabilitation project in Bobtown, Pennsylvania. Required repairs include, but are not limited to: roof replacement, soffit and fascia work, and chimney repairs. The project is funded in part by the Community Development Block Grant Program. General Contractors must possess a current Home Improvement Contractor (HIC) License and insurance to rehabilitate the home to correct code deficiencies. Services may include following the scope of work prepared by the housing inspector, complying with detailed work descriptions to bring the structure up to HUD Quality Standards and local building codes, conducting progress inspections with photo documentation, consulting with the County Housing Inspector, and securing subcontractors as necessary. Contracts will be between the Contractor and Homeowner(s), with the County managing the project and making payments at specified intervals upon satisfactory progress inspections. Sealed bids must be submitted to the Greene County Controller's Office by 11:00 A.M. on the specified date. Faxed or emailed proposals are not accepted, and bid documents may be obtained by contacting the HOME Program at the Greene County Office Building during normal business hours.
