Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Pitt Meadows, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Work of this Contract comprises of the following: Construction of a new travelling water screen system complete with a washwater filtration and spray system at the existing Baynes Drainage Pump Station. Additional site works, concrete works and electrical upgrades to accommodate the new travelling water screen system. Isolation, dewatering and bypass pumping of the Baynes Drainage Pump Station forebay to facilitate construction. Commissioning of the new travelling water screen and washwater filtration and spray system as all other works included under this contract. The Contractor is to submit an anticipated construction schedule and sequence of construction for review and approval prior to the Owner taking the existing station offline. The Contractor is responsible for all temporary electrical and bypass pumping needs. Permission is required from the Owner prior to shutting down the existing pump station either for short durations or long periods. The scheduling of the removal from service, must be included in the overall construction schedule.
