This solicitation involves the purchase and delivery of Odor Control Chemicals for use at the sewage pumping stations located throughout Franklin Township, Somerset County, New Jersey. Bid proposals must be enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the name and address of the Bidder and the name of the work on the outside. Bids must be accompanied by a Statement of Consent of Surety from a Surety Company authorized and acceptable to the Authority. Each Bid must be accompanied by a certified check or cash in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid, but not in excess of $20,000, payable without any conditional endorsement as a guarantee. A bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid may be substituted for certified check or cash. Each Bid must also be accompanied by a certificate from a bonding company licensed in the State of New Jersey guaranteeing that if the proposal is accepted, they will furnish the bond required. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a surety company bond in the full amount of the Contract price for faithful performance. The Authority reserves the right to award the contract based on funds available and to reject any or all Bids as permitted by law. During performance, the Contractor must comply with New Jersey and OSHA worker and jobsite safety requirements and other specified state regulations. No Bidder may withdraw their Bid for sixty days after the date set for opening.
